INTRODUCTION
All living beings need to live in a liquid balanced environment which contains a determined proportion of water and other substances, such as mineral salts.
The human body needs to rely upon an efficient filtration system to remove the waste-products produced by cellular activity in order to maintain a balanced concentration of its internal liquid.
In man, water represents between 60 and 70% of his body weight.
RELEASE MECHANISMS
We perspire in order to control our body temperature.
Our body eliminates water through the lungs, where water is expelled as water-vapour together with one of our waste-products, carbon dioxide.

We also eliminate water form our bodies through urine. Kidneys control water, the mineral salts and other substances.
